Fancy

Fancy, a 20 year old Fox Trotter.

At 20 years old she had TWINS which is so amazing!  Usually even when a young mother horse has two foals one of them usually does not survive so this is a great story—both of Fancy's foals survived.

One twin is named Peanut (right) and the bigger twin (left) is named Cracker Jack.  They were born, April 18th, 2006 at 5 am.

Fancy is the horse of the month for June, 2006.

Jannazar aka "Jan"

Jannazar. Take a look at this most beautiful and fit girl. As you read this she and Chelsea, her owner, are getting ready for an upcoming show. Their goal is to begin Second Level Dressage. Jannazar is ahealthy 23 years old; a pure bred Arabian. She is a wonderful representative of the aging horse. With the care and exercise Chelsea is giving, she is allowing this horse to age gracefully. Jan enjoys jumping, she can still go over a 2' 11" fence with ease. Chelsea says she will even gallop over Cross Country.

Tigger

Meet Tigger: He is owned and loved by Darlene. She has written the kindest things about Tigger. Her beloved Tigger is a retired Amish Plow Horse from Lancaster, Pa. Darlene came across this 18hh puppy dog, and they have started to learn Dressage together. She hopes to start showing in Beginner Dressage with Tigger. No more plowing for him, now its their time to have fun.

Many Soft Nickers,

Java

First of all, this photo is Award winning!
There are even two fingers as antenna! Look close!

Java is 18, is a true rescued horse. Java had been abandoned, left behind, forgotten and out of shape. Java came up to Rae, and she immediately knew she was meant to be hers. Now Java is an excellent riding horse. They go on trail rides to the river, she even rides her bareback at NIGHT(!) (how fun that must be). Rae believes that she gets better with age, but she never shows her age! There is a true trust and comfort these older horses offer. Java did not know her future would be so promising.

Many Soft Nickers,
Debra
